Playing Tungle

Tungle is a daily word game that can be played anonymously or with an account. You may use it for personal, lawful enjoyment. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, automate submissions, evade access controls, scrape private data or attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

Accounts

Accounts are optional. If you create one, provide a valid email address, keep your credentials private and take responsibility for activity under your account. Please contact Tungle promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Tungle may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect players, investigate abuse or comply with the law. Account features may change as the service develops, but existing gameplay data will be handled in line with the Privacy Policy.

Names, friends and live play

Player names and invite links may be visible to friends or people in a live puzzle. Choose a name that is respectful and does not impersonate someone else, infringe their rights or contain unlawful or abusive material. Tungle may change or remove inappropriate names.

Play Together sessions are collaborative and server-authoritative. The host controls the live session, and ending it may return participants to their own puzzle. A session invite grants temporary access only to that shared session; it does not grant independent access to premium archive content.

Tungle+ subscriptions

Tungle+ is a recurring subscription that unlocks the features described at the time of purchase. Billing is handled by Stripe. Prices, billing periods and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout. The subscription renews until cancelled through the subscription-management link in Account or through Stripe’s billing portal.

Except where the law requires otherwise, charges already made are not automatically refundable. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, contact Tungle and the circumstances will be reviewed fairly. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Availability and changes

Tungle aims to provide a reliable daily puzzle, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be promised. Maintenance, network failures, third-party services or future product changes may temporarily affect access. Features and puzzle content may be added, changed or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.

These terms may be updated as Tungle evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continuing to use Tungle after an update means the revised terms apply from that point.

Intellectual property

Tungle’s name, visual design, software, puzzles and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may share result text and invite links using the built-in sharing tools, but you may not copy, republish, sell or create a competing service from substantial parts of Tungle without permission.

Responsibility and liability

Tungle is provided for entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Tungle is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost progress caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, or third-party services and links.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
